PROJECT 8 : PERFORMANCE NIGHT

 The is the last project for this semester, the project title names 'performance night' with the theme 'THE LOST KINGDOM'. Every major was given a kingdom and we must come out with a performance with related to the kingdom given. For construction management student which including me had been given 'DEMAK' as our kingdom.

We had decided to make a dance and a drama to fulfill the requirement task. We manage and practice many times to make sure we can have a good performance on that night. We had borrow same costume from the school.
At last, we had a great performance and won same award on that night.
It such a beautiful night!!!!

PROJECT 7 : EXHIBITION

 For project 7, every majors are required make a booth to show some selected studiowork along the sem 1.
This is the banner use for the exhibition day on 16 dec.

We design the booth with the theme 'floating line' .
The yellow colour banner is represent us, construction management student which design by our group leader names Sakina.
We had used 2 days to complete the decoration and finished it on Sunday night (1 day before the exhibition day).

Hallo!!! This is the CM group!!!!
We will face many challenges together incoming 3 years!!!!
I believe that we will have a amazing and fantastic  university life together!!!

PROJECT 6C : AMPHITHEATRE STAGE DESIGN

 After the presentation, the next coming project was making  model , we put a lot effort on this project. It just like our 'baby' , we love it , we want to make it perfect. Haha!!!
We start making our model from the base, after this follow by the backbone and shelter.
After 2 weeks, the final product came out !!!!!!
It is so wonderful!!
It's really a nice design!!!
Thanks a lot to all the 'GALAXY 11' members!!!!
It's deserve we use so much day and night to complete it!

PROJECT 6A & 6B : AMPHITHEATRE STAGE DESIGN

This is the biggest amount of group assignment which is 16 students in one group.It is totally awesome!!
We done our work in the studio together, every problem we met, we will solved it together. Everyone are learning, we try our best to complete the work.
We names our group as 'GALAXY 11' and we have our own logo, it just work like a real company, haha!
We had decided to use the cocoon shape as our design concept which the opinion from my groupmate name's CHAN LEE KANG, he is a good and hard-working architect student.All of us love the final design so much!
At last, we also had a presentation in front of our lecturer and students.

Project 5A & 5B SENSE OF PLACE : NEIGHBOURHOOD AND COMMUNITY

We are required to do the site analysis and there are 6 sites for to choose.
I had decided to choose SIARA 81 to do my site analysis.
It is a nice place, it is very attractive to me.

There is a key plan, location plan and site plan in this site analysis. I thinks it is much detail to let people get more about the information of SIARA 81.

We are also required to do a proposed improvement. I had chosen some of the part which place in SIARA 81 and suggest what can be improve and add-on in the housing area.

Project 4 : PRESENTATION DRAWINGS

In this project, we need to draw 2 pieces of presentation drawings of the project 3B in A3 size.
This is the blueprint of the Comfortable Chair which design by our self in the last project.
After the experience of this project, I had learn the technique of drawing a blueprint.






The A3 size paper had included the axonomatric drawing and perspective drawing of  Comfortable Chair which design by our self in the 3B project.
I had spend many time on it, but I'm comfort with the final product, at least, in my opinion it looks nice!!!

Project 3B : OBJECT CONNECTION

It is a group work for project 3B. We are required to produce a Comfortable Chair, which is combination of a table and a chair. It not an easy job for 3 students which is non-design course.









Because of we are 3 boys in a group, so in a short meeting, we had decided to create a Comfortable Chair with a simple design, after bought the materials, we used 6 hours to done it and the Comfortable Chair come withe the feeling of neat and simple.
Some of my friend says it just look like a IKEA product.
That's is nice to heard it, haha !

PROJECT 3A : OBJECT CREATION

I have chosen 'YIN-YANG' as my subject for this sculpture assignment. This assignment require us to create a sculpture which bring the meaning of HARMONY. I think 'YIN-YANG' is the best subject for this topic. This is because 'YIN-YANG' is used to describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world. Even there is two colours which is black and white.

PROJECT 2 : NATURAL & MAN-MADE STRUCTURES

 This is my 2nd project, after the lesson of sketching, I knew that there is many different methods in sketching. This assignment require us to choose a natural structure for sketching and choose a man-made structure for colouring.

 This is the natural structure I chosen for sketching, the name of the plant is AGAVE. It is a beautiful plant with long leaves. It is one of the useful plant which helps to purify the air in our environment.

 This is the man-made structure which I chosen for colouring, this is a bus stop near my hostel. Bus stop served as a good shelter for us, without it, I will be sweating away under the hot burning sun and I will be getting wet during raining days.Thank you so much to the bus stop for 'serving' us!

PROJECT 1 : Me，MYSELF & I

 This is my very first project done in HBP (Housing,Building and Planning).The task requirement is want us to design our logo and sketch our own face.
This my first try on design and drawing, I'm glad to do this project, I try my best and I feel satisfied with the final product.

My friend say they can knows i'm sketching myself when they see my project 1 product. I'm happy to heard it.

This is my logo, my logo design idea are related to my name. My name is ZHI SHAN. My logo is formed by 'ZS' which is the short form of my name. The reason why I use my name to be my logo is because everyone has their own unique name and its special meaning.
Other than this, the alphabets 'Z' and 'S' almost look alike, they are just like a reflection of some one standing in front of a mirror, this will enable people to recognize my logo which will be an advantage to me.
